All about me!
My name is Mary Sisk and I am the Speech and Language Therapist at Isle of Hope School and Johnson High School. I teach grades Pre-Kindergarten (3-4 year olds) up to high school. I was born at Fort Bragg, NC but moved to Savannah when I was 13. My dad was an Ear, Nose, and Throat Surgical assistant so I grew up around ENT doctors, Audiologists, and Speech and Language Pathologists. I was actually a very accomplished classically trained Flute student in high school and played in the Youth Orchestra. I attended The University of Georgia and was majoring in Music Education. That is, .......until I realized,...this is not what I want to do with the rest of my life. I continued to march in the Redcoat band for 4 years (It was the only way to get into all the football games for free every year!) I took some classes in Communication Sciences and Anatomy and found it extremely interesting. I graduated from UGA in 1999. I then attended Armstrong Atlantic State University for my Master's program. I am married to my soul mate, David, and we have 2 amazing kids, Joseph and Georgia.
